Hoover III is a five-piece from Los Angeles combining psychedelic westcoast flair with wild garage madness.
The vibe is that of a driving, psych rock band, with enough shred-laden, dual-guitar work to impress the heads and more hooks than a pirate convention. The band has just put out their self-titled Longplayer via Permanent Records. Never before has a debut album so seamlessly mixed all the best subgenres of 60 years of rock into such a fantastic crystalline stalactite. If the sounds contained within these grooves could be distilled down to something edible, even the smallest dose would be lethal.
